Ichi the Killer - Blood Bag Special Edition
I would have to say that I'm one of Miike's biggest fan - I have all of his movies on DVD and I'm gutted (haha) to see that they are going to re-release Ichi the Killer in a new special edition.
I already have the 3-disc Ichi movie from Korea and the cartoon, so I think I may pass this one up, although it's always so tempting.

Takashi Miike Does America!
(My alternate title was "Oh Miike you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind, hey Miike!")
If you like cult-ish type movies, you'll probably have heard of Miike. He's one of my favorite directors. I just saw two of his films, Bird People in China and Imprint.
Imprint is Miike's first American feature. Needless to say, Showtime, which buys the features for their one-hour show, "Masters of Horror", they REJECTED Miike's film!
The only way you can get to see this film is through DVD.
After watching it, I can pretty much see...

France is getting a 13-disc Superman boxset, which includes all the Superman movies. Comes with a comic book and some other stuff. I can't read French :/

Shaw Brothers Movies Finally Available in the States
I have in my hands the release of the first official Shaw Brothers movie in the US! Not really sure why Black Magic is the first title to be released here, but I suspect it has something to do with the exclusive "English-dubbed soundtrack"?

My DVD Collection
I thought maybe you guys might be interested in seeing some DVDs that I own. It's not a lot, but it's a start.Last count, I think I have over 1,300 DVDs. I'm not looking forward to HD or BluRay since that would probably mean buying the same movie on a different format
